I think I'll pass on this one and stick with 78.01. None of the 8x.xx drivers have worked too well for me :|

Really? The last WHQL release caused a lot of problems with my 6600GT, random lockups and screen corruption galore. :|
I'm tempted to try it now since you said it is "working great" :|

Running great on my 5700 Ultra (as well as the previous 81.85). Issues with any 8x driver below 81.85 on the other hand..
Whql = Will not mess up windows but when it comes to games and other apps.. Example 81.89 fixes issue that were present in previous WHQL drivers

• GeForce 7800 GTX 512, SLI: In Battlefield 2 and other applications,
screen corruption occurs with SLI AA enabled.
• GeForce 7800 GTX, SLI: Everquest 2 launches to a black screen when
antialiasing s set to 2xQ.
• GeForce 6800, SLI: There is pausing in Colin McRae Rally 5 when SLI
is enabled.
• GeForce 6800, SLI: Corruption occurs on the golf course in Tiger
Woods 2006 with 2x antialiasing enabled.
• GeForce 6800, SLI: The desktop doesnʹt refresh after exiting Black and
White 2.
• GeForce 6800, SLI: Nothing appears below the SLI load balancing line
in 3DMark05 when SLI AA is enabled.
• GeForce 6600 VE, SLI: “Lack of video bridge” error message appears
when enabling SLI without the SLI connector.
• GeForce 6600, Windows XP, SLI: The system occasionally hangs
when playing Everquest 2.
• GeForce 6600, Windows XP, SLI: When the quality level is set to
Extreme Quality, EverQuest 2 does not render correctly with 4x
antialiasing enabled at 1600x1200.

I decided to step up to 81.98 because I was feeling lucky.
I'm still getting random lockups, but it's not as bad as before. Still bloody annoying, though.
Again, back to 78.01 I go :|

I wish I could...
Well 81.98 I have tried and I still cannot get past the login screen dunno why this started happening. I can into the game on the 79.11 with a modded ini but I get a GW.exe error
